Yoder and Brian Yingling spent the weekend of November 30 - December 2
, 2007 in Valladolid, Spain at the finale de la
Coupe d’Europe des Clubs Champions representing the Italian side Asiago
Vipers. In pool play he Vipers started out pool play with a thud by getting pounded by Trieste, Italy 6-2. CJ and Brian scoring the only goals. They rebounded by destroying Amiens, France 10-0 (Yingling 2 goals, Yoder 1 goal) and defeating Assenheim, Germany 4-2 (Yingling 1 goal) to finish 2nd in their pool and making the semi-finals. In the semi-finals they easily beat Rethel, France 6-2 (1 goal each) setting up the championship game against the home side of Valladolid, Spain. In the face of a hostile crowd the Vipers defeated the hosts 6-3 (CJ and Brian scored 1 goal each) to earn their 2nd European Championship. Congrats to CJ and Brian!!! Next time you see them wish them Forza ragazzi! And see if them have a clue what you just said (it is Italian for "Let's go Boys!"). Asiago Vipers website Check
