Announcing our upcoming Club Hockey season
and Youth World Division program
CLUB TEAMS:

Our club teams will play in the same format (Tier I and Tier II) as last season.  Practices for these teams will begin at your local Skate City the weekend before Thanksgiving.  Look for specific information about practice times at your local Skate City in the near future.  Tournaments will begin the first weekend in January and will cost $45 per tournament.  Club dues will be $40.  Team jerseys cost $50 and team pants cost $45.

New to our tournaments this year will be the Fort Collins Firebirds playing out of OD's Sports Crossing.  It's exciting to add new players and teams and a new location.  Also, our latest Skate City rink is about to open in Albuquerque and they will be forming our newest club called the Aztecs.  New teams from this club will be traveling to our tournaments as soon as they are formed.  Let's all welcome these new players to our tournaments.  I'm sure these teams will bring added excitement each weekend.

YOUTH WORLD DIVISION:

Evaluations for the Youth World Division team players will take place in December.  We will be contacting all coaches this week to start the process.  This season we will run a tournament for each age group so that all players who try out can be evaluated during actual games.  Practices will begin as soon as teams are drafted.  The evaluation tournament will cost $45 and the schedule is as follows:

12 & Under Evaluation Tournament - Saturday, December 5th
14 & Under Evaluation Tournament - Saturday, December 12th
10 & Under Evaluation Tournament - Saturday, December 19th
17 & Under Evaluation Tournament - Sunday, December 20th

All Youth World players will need to attend the appropriate tournament.  Any returning players who remain in the same age group will stay on their same team.  All players moving up in age and and all new players will be draft eligible.  Cost for all players who make a Youth World roster is $100 and a team jersey will be provided to those who are not on the same team as last season.  Team pants cost $45.

Great news, we will also be adding new teams in the Youth World Division.  Fort Collins will be joining us the the newest teams, the Rams.  All of our world teams will get a chance to travel to Fort Collins for a tournament at OD's .  Also, our hockey friends in Omaha, Des Moines and Bethany, MO are combining their talents pool to draft players for World Teams called the Pioneers.  Look for information in the future about a Youth World tournament in Omaha.  Our hockey partners in Hershey, PA, in conjunction with our other rinks in their area, are forming teams for this new elite division that they can bring to the RC Nationals in June.  With all the new players and teams this looks to be an incredibly competitive and exciting season for our elite players.  Stay tuned for more info as it becomes available.  I look forward to seeing you at Tour Arena this season.
