The CET Sports Inline Hockey Arena will be starting its' next season of youth recreation hockey on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013. The mission of our Youth Recreation Hockey Program is to provide each participant with a positive recreational experience, which is achieved by building self-confidence through individual skill improvement, teaching the value of teamwork, and developing character and sportsmanship.
Each age division will have three practices at the beginning of the season. All players practice together as a league, and at the end of the third practice they are divided into teams and begin playing league games. Team rosters and game schedules are made available at the end of the third practice. Our league programs use only S.I.H.A. certified coaches who are trained and experienced staff members.
After each league has completed the three practices, the remainder of the season will consist of 10 league games, which will start the week of April17th. These games are played twice a week, and may start anytime between 4:20 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. All game coaching and officiating is done by S.I.H.A. Coaching Staff. Each game will consist of two (2) 15-minute halves.
